Some of the most common sales we’ve seen are:
1. Straight discount: These sales are pretty straightforward where you get a 10% discount off your kitchen order.
2. The Ikea Gift Card: When you spend a certain amount during the kitchen sale, you get 10-15% back in the form of an IKEA gift card. Plan right and you can use this gift card on your purchase and keep more money in your bank account.

JOIN THE IKEA FAMILY
Pay attention to the fine print as some of IKEA’s sales require that you become a IKEA Family member to get the discount. But there also a lot of extra little perks that come with this free membership.
First, there’s free coffee or tea you can sip as you shop.
Second, Family Member-only discounts are often available throughout the store.
Third, and probably our favorite benefit, you also enjoy a 90-day price guarantee that will adjust your purchase price to honor a sale after your purchase. This lets you buy when it works for you since their sale cycle is about every 90 days. So even if you don’t catch a sale, you still have a chance to get the sale price!

DESIGN AT YOUR LEISURE
Waiting until the sale begins to start designing your kitchen renovation can be a frustrating experience. The IKEA computers and kitchen specialists will be in high demand, so you should expect long lines. When it is your turn, you’ll feel the pressure, and that is the WRONG feeling to have when trying to make meaningful design decisions.
Design your kitchen in advance, and you’ll have time to design at your own pace. Use the online kitchen planner and our material samples to create a custom look. Just remember that when designing, it’s important to design with doors ON your plans, even though you will not be ordering the IKEA fronts. This is so you have a reference for what doors you will need when you do place your Semihandmade order. It’s much easier to remove the doors at the end; you can just tell them you don’t need to doors when you place your IKEA order.

WE ALWAYS FORGET SOMETHING
There are a million different pieces you will need for your kitchen renovation, and you are bound to forget something. This doesn’t mean you have to pay full price or wait for the next sale.
