We are very impressed with the product and the process of getting it into Canada was much easier than expected. Shipping was set up by Semihandmade, and we used a broker that was always responsive and on top of things. After that, I just tracked the shipment and it was smooth sailing. Everything arrived very nicely packed, so no damage. We didn't install this ourselves, we had a contractor do it because we needed some cutting, etc. that we just weren't able to do to our satisfaction. I asked the contractor what the product was like and he said it was exactly as advertised - everything fit where it needed to fit and acted as an Ikea product (albeit super stylish). He was relieved because he didn't need to creatively modify. He also commented on the fantastic quality.

I wanted IKEA cabinets, didn’t like any of their doors for my mid-century design, concluded that custom cabinets were way beyond my budget, and then (not a moment too soon) my contractor remembered meeting the Semihandmade team at the Dwell on Design Show.
